Edmundo E. Medeiros has over two decades of experience in Tax Law, with a solid track record in both administrative and judicial tax litigation. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Tax Law at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), and a Postgraduate Specialization in Constitutional Law from the Escola Superior de Direito Constitucional. At Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, he holds key academic leadership roles, serving as Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Law and as Professor of Tax Litigation and Corporate Taxation in the Undergraduate Law Program. He is also the Academic Director of the Postgraduate Program in “Corporate Tax Law and Tax Planning,” recognized for its integration of legal practice and academic innovation. He is the author of several notable legal works, including Curso de Direito Tributário (D’Plácido Publishing, 2018, 3rd ed.), a consolidated reference in the study and practice of Tax Law, as well as Direito Tributário – Prática Profissional (Lítera Publishing, 2010) and Infraestrutura Energética – Planejamento e Regulação do Setor Elétrico (MP Jurídica Publishing, 2009).
