Edmundo E. Medeiros has over 20 years of experience in the tax field, with a focus on administrative and judicial tax litigation. He is a PhD candidate at Mackenzie Presbyterian University, holds a Master's degree from the University of São Paulo – USP, and is a Specialist from the School of Constitutional Law. At Mackenzie, he holds the positions of Deputy Coordinator and Professor of Tax Process and Business Taxation in the Law Undergraduate Program, and he is also the Academic Responsible for the Postgraduate course in "Business Tax Law and Fiscal Planning." He is the author of the books "Curso de Direito Tributário" (Tax Law Course - D’Plácido Publishing - 2018, 3rd Edition), "Direito Tributário – Prática Profissional" (Tax Law - Professional Practice - Lítera Publishing - 2010), and "Infraestrutura Energética – Planejamento e Regulação do Setor Elétrico" (Energetic Infrastructure - Planning and Regulation of the Electric Sector - MP Jurídica Publishing - 2009).
